Synopsis:

Nice guys always finish last huh? Well, forget guys, what about the 'sugar and spice and all things nice' girls out there who are taken for granted and can't hold their own in a relationship? Relationships, dating and love are confusing and heartbreaking at the best of times, but it doesn't help to see the evil bitch snap up the most sought after man in the state, does it?

'Evil Bitch' isn't a derogatory term anymore, it's a status and men love it.

Sherry Argov, a critically acclaimed scholar in the art of relationships, is here to deliver a unique perspective on why men are attracted to these strong minded, no-nonsense, desirable women. By following Argov's advice and learning the tricks of the dating trade, you'll not only become a sexy, independent, wanted woman, you'll invite love and respect from the male species simply by batting your eyelids.

Ready to be a woman in control and make men go ga-ga? Then pick up a copy of 'Why Men Love Bitches - from doormat to dreamgirl - A woman's guide to holding her own in a relationship' and be prepared to be unstoppable.

Reviewers comments:

My first issue with this book is its claim that it's going to be funny. Words like 'hilarious', 'humorous tone' and 'cheeky' are used too frequently in the opening pages and it gives you an uneasy feeling. Why did I just spend $15.95 on something that's going to mock my problems? I often find the magic of humour is in its effortlessness - unfortunately, this book is completely the opposite and I didn't laugh once.  Consequently, the whole thing is very vague, makes very little sense and is too pre-occupied with being funny to offer anything of any use.

When Sherry Argov isn't making every attempt to breed a nation of feminists, she's criticizing advice, probably worthy and interesting advice, from other sources. At this point I began to wonder whether Argov herself has confidence issues or has possibly written this book after a string of bad relationships. I then found myself thinking that this is a pretty awful thing to be thinking about an author that's supposedly trying to help you by offering 'compelling' and 'bottom-line' answers. This book is a total mess. It alternates between whether it's written for teenagers, or women of a more mature setting. I can tell you from experience that the difference in values, behaviour and desire are so far apart between these two generations that I'd be offended if someone tried to address my feelings and issues from the perspective of a teenager. Congratulations Argov, not only have you irritated your reader, you've also now offended them. Kudos.

Have you read enough? If not, I'm going to disappoint you further. Sherry Argov has broken up the text with her own 'Attraction Principles'. The usual format one would expect is for these to be suggested and then explained. Irritatingly, in this book, they come at the end of the text, like a conclusion. Also a simplistic and effective way of presenting an argument, I hear you think, but it's actually really confusing in this book. There is very little distinction about where one thing ends and another starts and as a result, before you've even finished the first chapter, I guarantee you'll have a headache.

That said, the 'Attraction Principles' suggested aren't actually that awful. It's just the text that surrounds them. Luckily, you can find them all in an appendix at the back and that's really all you need. What's more, Argov has begun each chapter with an interesting and educational quote from famous beings that really make you think. If only she'd simply published these and her attraction principles, you could have saved a lot of money and she probably could have saved her own, seemingly fragile self esteem from bad reviews like this one.

What really confirmed my belief that this book is utter rubbish? (As if I needed more convincing...). Instructions on how to fake an orgasm.

Who Should Buy It:
If you're bored, you've got a lot of time on your hands and a bizarre force inspires you to fill that void with a really shoddy dating book when you have no desire to learn anything about the world it describes, then this book is a step on the ladder towards that goal. Alternatively, if you're a dysfunctional, power hungry woman with a serious lack of respect for men and need some support in your quest to emasculate the nation, then this book is also for you.

More constructively, I wouldn't recommend it to any woman who is serious about finding love or fixing the flaws in her relationships or her dating techniques. There are other books out there. Neither would I ever suggest a man read it or be allowed anywhere near it - if you thought women were manipulative already, you're going to be seriously considering homosexuality by the time you're done with this - if you get past the first chapter.
